Transformation Forums believes in the power of strong communities of committed participants, who engage in peer collaboration through substantive discussions, transfer of knowledge and the exchange of ideas. In short: communities with the right context and content. By creating a conducive environment for the top decision makers from the Netherlands and Europe, we contribute to a strong economy and a society capable of forward-looking action.
Founded as an independent organization in 2010, Transformation Forums consists of a team with years of experience in facilitating and organizing forums and round table discussions at the Board level. Our core values are: connectors par excellence, substance-driven, personal involvement and attention to detail.
Transformation Forums facilitates the entire context in which top decision makers from the Netherlands and Europe meet to engage in forward-looking dialogue in a confidential setting. The purpose of the meetings is for top-level stakeholders to learn from one another, gain new insights and be inspired by their peers.
Transformation Forums has a large network of top decision makers in the public and private sector who are all substance- and network-driven. Together with an Advisory Board and our partners, we carefully select and invite the participants and involve them in the substantive preparation.
During the forums, top decision makers meet to focus on forward-looking social and economic issues. Depending on the theme, our aim is to make the field of participants as diverse as possible. The participants are addressed in a general session by one or more keynote speakers, after which they engage in discussions at the session in parallel organized round table discussions. The forums we organize vary in size from small events starting at about 20 participants, to large events with up to 80 participants.
A deep dive consists of a series of coordinated round table discussions, in which participants get together several times a year. We collaborate with our partners to offer topical and industry-specific programs. The cyclical nature of the programs ensures that the participants keep building on what they learn. To ensure interaction during the deep dives, the number of participants is limited to twelve.
Round table discussions are characterized by their small-scale and democratic nature. Participants discuss the common challenges they face and learn from one another’s individual approaches. Round table discussions have an outside-in focus and are geared to the preferences of the organizing partner and the different participants. To ensure interaction, the number of participants is limited to twelve.
